Well, time to unveil a bit of my current stuff, for good.
I was planning/organizing things for 2014, when I thought it would be great to start unravelling one of the things I had in mind: a personal reinterpretation of the Arthurian Legend, but just for personal experimentation - a deconstruction of the myth, in a medieval-esque/uberfuturistic fashion, set in a far away century from now.
So, I've unpretentiously started this (instead of waiting for any "right moment" for it, wich we all should know doesn't exist), on the spare hours between my latest jobs. Not a graphic novel (have other plans for one... shhh it's a secret) or anything, just a series of images, to illustrate this whole idea.
And this is the start.
---
Meet Lady Le Fay - she's an Alcheminister on the otherworldly realm of Avalon (on the other side of the Universe, where technology evolved to Magic many centuries ago), and one of the creators of the legendary Sword of Excalibur, a relic forged on the heat of a dying star. Excalibur was robbed by Evienne, a ghost sorceress (she invades the bodies of people from the same lineage of her ancestors for millenia) who intend giving the cosmic weapon to a young man - a young and recently announced New King, who might be the answer for all the hopes on the decaying Kingdom of Bretonnia, on the forsaken world once called Earth. But Morgana will do anything to stop the Revolution from happening... and her plans will begin when she finds and ressurect The Druid.
I'll expand this tale a bit further, rest assure. The next one will be Arthur Pendragon, the new sovereign of the Fallen Kingdom.
